Chris Dupuis
Senior Manager, International Tax Services
Chris has over 18 years of experience in providing international tax services to companies in various industries, including technology, financial services, and industrials. He provides a range of consulting, compliance and global tax provision services including global restructuring, choice of entity planning/formation, foreign tax credit planning, Global Intangible Low Tax Income (GILTI) analysis, and Pillar Two global minimum tax. Chris has extensive experience in leading global tax provision and compliance engagements and has led national and regional internal training on advanced topics such as Accounting for Income Taxes: Accounting for Foreign Entities and U.S. international tax compliance considerations. Prior to joining RSM in 2023, Chris served as tax director at a publicly traded, multinational company in Houston where he focused on global tax provision, U.S. and local country income tax compliance, and global tax planning.
Dan Farrell
Partner, EY

Dan is a partner in our International Tax and Transactions practice with over 30 years of experience working with our private equity clients on capital markets issues and cross-border planning including tax efficient financing and joint venture structures, merger and acquisition planning, post-merger integration and US inbound and outbound tax planning.Dan has extensive experience with fund and management company formation and operational tax issues and has advised many multi-jurisdictional clients on structuring to accommodate investor and owner level considerations, remuneration planning and investment level considerations. He has also worked with portfolio companies of private equity clients to monitor and address tax risks and planning opportunities.
Gary Silacci

Partner, Transaction Advisory Services, EY
Gary is a transaction tax partner in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Tax Advisory services practice. He joined the Firm in July 2002. Prior to joining EY, Gary was a tax partner in a similar practice with another global public accounting firm. Gary has more than 25 years of transaction tax experience and a broad background in federal income tax law. He is well versed in corporate, flow-through, and cross-border transaction tax matters. He has presented on merger and acquisition related topics to various business associations and forums, including the Tax Executive Institute of Boston.

Giovanni DiCenso
Principal, M&A Transaction Services, Deloitte

Giovanni is a tax Principal in the M&A Transaction Services practice. He has over 25 years of experience at Deloitte, 20 plus years as a dedicated M&A specialist and 5 years of international tax and transfer pricing experience. Giovanni advises primarily private equity clients on tax structuring, cash tax modeling, tax due diligence, and transaction documents in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, IPO’s, debt workouts and restructurings and recapitalizations. Giovanni has led a number of cross-border transactions involving targets located in Europe, North and South America, and Asia, and has advised on numerous transactions across a range of industries including technology, healthcare, infrastructure, financial services, retail consumer and industrial products, manufacturing, and professional services.Giovanni received his BA in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, his JD from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law, and his LLM in International and Comparative Laws from the Georgetown University Law School.
Matt Maggiacomo
Principal, Deloitte

Matt, based in New York, is a principal in our M&A Transaction Services tax practice. Matt has 10 years+ of experience advising private equity clients and multinational companies on both foreign and domestic acquisitions and dispositions, (re)financings, acquisition structures, pre- and post-acquisition restructurings and integration, corporate spin-off transactions, and joint ventures. He has an extensive background in cross-border transactions and the related potential impact of both foreign and US tax rules. Matt has significant experience across various industries with a focus on industrials, infrastructure and technology / SaaS companies, as well as aerospace and defense, consumer, and health care and life sciences businesses.With several years of legal practice before joining Deloitte, Matt previously represented clients throughout the M&A transaction life-cycle, providing legal guidance on the corporate and tax aspects of various transactions and related documentation, including merger agreements, purchase agreements, partnership & joint venture agreements, and tax receivable agreements, etc.
